It’s a busy week for iRx Clinical Pharmacy and PanCare Medical Clinic!
Today, 22 Mar 2023, is iRx’s first health screening. It was a wonderful turn out where we received 40 residents in Hougang over 4 hours! Quite a handful of participants I spoke to shared that they have been wanting to do a health screen but have been putting it off until today. Opportunistic outreach events like this one serves as a call to action for at-risk individuals to take charge of their own health. I’m glad this has made a positive impact on them.
Caring for the community is an all-hands-on-deck effort. As we move towards Healthier SG, there are so many ways that pharmacists can leverage on their clinical training to provide person-centred and individualized care for each client.
