Health Fiesta is a community screening event that started today, 24 Mar 2023, at Ang Mo Kio. This is an excellent example of public health institutions, general practitioners and community partners working together to serve the community.
Events such as this help to build trust and strengthen the relationship between individuals and their health providers. It was a really enjoyable experience to be talking to each participant who came through my counter. Some were old friends whom we are already seeing in clinic, whereas many more are new friends! In addition, it was also an opportunity for residents to mingle with their neighbours and positively influence each other to stay healthy and keep fit.
iRx Clinical Pharmacy is honoured to have this opportunity to partake in this meaningful event together with PanCare Medical Clinic, AWWA, Agency for Integrated Care - AIC Singapore, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Central Health Action & Learning Kampung - CHALK, Silver Generation Office, Health Promotion Board, Singapore, People's Association and Temasek Foundation.
