Inaugural Medication Brown Bagging - A Transdisciplinary Collaboration to Serve the Community

18 Mar 2023 marks the inaugural Medication Brown Bagging Event for iRx Clinical Pharmacy and PanCare Medical Clinic.

Medication Brown Bagging is a service where clients are invited to bring their medications to the pharmacists for review. You would be surprised to find that there may be duplication of the same medications of different brands, medications that are expired 2 years ago, etc. It is called Brown Bag because medications were historically dispensed to patients in brown paper bags.

With transdisciplinary collaboration and together with community partners, we can reach out to more clients and serve the community better.

Thank you Braddell Heights Zone B Residents' Committee for your support, Dr Lum Zheng Kang for volunteering your time, Ms Carolynne Ng and Ms Seetoh Pei Jia for planning the event, Dr Barry K H Tan for volunteering your photography skills, Dr Thofique for dropping by, student volunteers and our lovely clinic assistants who facilitated the publicity and running of the actual event.
