Our monthly medication brown bagging took place today at Lorong Lew Lian. Today we also welcomed the inaugural batch of student volunteers from Republic Polytechnic!
It was a good opportunity for the students to get exposed to what it is like interacting with patients on the ground, and contributing directly to patient care. Students also get hands-on practice of patient care skills such as blood pressure measurement and simple patient interview.
Even though I lost my voice from my URTI, I still hope it was as much fun for them as it was for me receiving them!
